Walk & Talk Counselling
Walk and Talk therapy (aka Ecotherapy) can be best described as “taking the traditional counselling session outdoors”.
We will use the local surroundings and have the session while walking along the coast or using other local footpaths.
Walk and talk therapy can be especially helpful if you don't have the opportunity to get out into nature often or if you simply feel you can thrive better when you are surrounded by nature. I have seen how having therapeutic conversations with clients outdoors, either while walking, sitting in a wooded clearing/by the sea, or a mixture of both, can add a different and positive feel to the experience.
Please, note that the first session will take place online in order to get the chance to meet each other for the first time, ask questions, and raise any concerns you may have. I will ask you what you hope to get out of therapy or why you are looking to talk to me, as well as ask a little background information about you.
